Refund Policy

The money-back guarantee

• It covers every paid order, including report refreshes.
• You have 7 days from the date and time of payment (the date on your tax invoice) to ask.
• We refund the full amount you paid, GST included, to the card you paid with.
• No questions asked. You do not have to explain what was wrong with the report.

How to ask for a refund

Email support@reefreport.com.au from the email address on your ReefReport account. Include the property address or the job ID shown on your report page. We process refund requests by hand, so please allow a few business days for us to reply.

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Once we have issued it, your bank or card issuer controls how long it takes to appear, which can be several business days.

If something goes wrong on our side

• We check that your address, parcel and zone resolve before asking for payment. If that check fails you are not charged.
• If you paid and we could not deliver your report because of an error on our side, we will re-run it or refund you.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

The 7-day guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, not instead of them. Nothing on this page, in our Terms of Service or anywhere else on ReefReport excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Those rights include services being provided with due care and skill, and being fit for a purpose you made known to us. They apply even after the 7-day window has closed. For a summary of them, see consumer.vic.gov.au or accc.gov.au. If you think you have a claim, contact us and we will look at it on its merits.
